01Acceptance

These terms govern your use of chensedsolutions.com (the "site"), operated by Chensed Solutions (TJC & Co.), an accounting and advisory firm with its principal office in Davao City, Philippines. By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

These terms govern the website only. Professional services are governed by a separate signed engagement letter, which prevails over anything on this page in the event of conflict.

02The site is information, not advice

Tax and accounting rules differ materially by jurisdiction and change frequently. A position that is correct for a Philippine corporation may be wrong for a UK limited company or an Australian trust. Do not act, or refrain from acting, on the basis of anything published here without obtaining advice specific to your situation and your jurisdiction.

Where we cite a regulation, revenue memorandum circular, or statutory provision, we do so in good faith as at the date of publication. We do not undertake to keep site content current.

03When we become your accountants

Contacting us — through the form, by email, by telephone, or through social media — does not engage us. Attending a free consultation does not engage us. We become your accountants only when:

1. we have completed client acceptance and due diligence checks;
2. we have confirmed there is no conflict of interest and that we hold the necessary independence; and
3. an engagement letter setting out scope, fees, and responsibilities has been signed by both parties.

Until all three are satisfied, we owe you no duty of care in respect of the matters discussed, and you should not rely on preliminary comments as advice.

04The free consultation

We offer an initial consultation at no charge. What we commit to: a conversation with a qualified member of the firm, a written summary of what we understand your situation to require, and a quote for any work we propose. There is no obligation to proceed, and no fee if you do not.

What it is not: a substitute for a formal engagement, a diagnostic based on records we have not examined, or a warranty of any outcome. Observations made in a consultation rest on what you tell us, unverified.

We may decline to take on work — for reasons including conflict of interest, capacity, independence, or the results of due diligence — without giving reasons.

05Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the site unlawfully; attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its server, or any connected system; introduce malicious code; scrape or harvest content or contact details for bulk or automated purposes; misrepresent your identity or affiliation; or use the site in a way that impairs its availability to others.

06Intellectual property

All content on this site — text, layout, graphics, logos, the Chensed Solutions name and marks, and the arrangement of them — belongs to Chensed Solutions (TJC & Co.) or its licensors and is protected under Philippine and international copyright and trademark law.

You may view, download, and print pages for your own reference or internal business use. You may not republish, sell, sublicense, or systematically reproduce material from the site, or present it as your own, without our written permission. Quoting a short passage with attribution and a link is welcome.

07Third-party links and tools

The site may link to external resources — regulator websites, cloud accounting platforms, reference material. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, availability, or privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement.

08Availability and disclaimers

We aim to keep the site available and accurate but give no warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components. We may suspend, withdraw, or change any part of the site without notice.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties, express or implied, in relation to the site and its content, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

09Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any loss of profit, loss of business, loss of data, business interruption, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site, or from reliance on any content on it.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Liability arising under a signed engagement is governed by the limitation provisions in that engagement letter, not by this section.

If you are a consumer in a jurisdiction that grants non-excludable statutory guarantees — including under the Australian Consumer Law or the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act — those rights are unaffected by this section.

10Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these terms or your unlawful use of the site.

11Governing law

These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. The courts of Davao City, Philippines have exclusive jurisdiction, save that we may bring proceedings in the courts of your place of residence or business where the law requires it.

If you access the site from outside the Philippines, you are responsible for compliance with local law to the extent it applies to you.

12Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms at any time. The effective date at the top of this page shows the current version. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
