01Mar ↑ 01 · Backlog

Books months behind.

Every decision you make until they are current is made on an estimate.

02Jul ↑ 02 · Reconciliation

Ledger and bank don't agree.

No figure can be relied on — including the one you file.

03Dec ↑ 03 · Cadence

Statements once a year.

The period is closed. Nothing can be corrected, only explained.

04Filing ↑ 04 · Governance

No answer on profitability.

That is not a bookkeeping gap. It is a governance one.

None of this is unusual. All of it is fixable, on a defined timeline, by people who do it every month.

How the engagement runs

Three phases. One of them never ends.

PHASE 01

Diagnostic

The ledger reviewed, the backlog quantified, anything needing restatement identified — in writing, in week one.

ENDS · WEEK 1
PHASE 02

Structure

Chart of accounts rebuilt, feeds connected, close calendar fixed, responsibilities documented on both sides. The work that makes month three cost less than month one.

ENDS · MONTH 1
PHASE 03

Close

Books closed on a fixed date, independently reviewed, released with commentary. Every month, without being asked — for as long as we work together.

More volume, more accounts

Several bank and card accounts, supplier runs and payroll to reconcile. More moving parts, same close date, same figure.

Inventory, projects or job costing

Books that carry stock, project margins or job costs — not just cash in and out. Priced for the reconciliation that takes.

Several entities, one close calendar

Related companies closed together, intercompany accounts agreed before release. Still scoped before quoted.

Questions owners ask

Asked and answered in full.

Backlog reconstruction is among our most common engagements. We scope the years involved, rebuild from bank statements and source documents, and reconcile forward as we go. You receive a fixed quote for the reconstruction and a start date for the monthly cycle before any work begins.

We are certified in QuickBooks Online and Xero, and also run Elasticbooks. We will recommend the better fit for your operation rather than the one we prefer. Spreadsheet and legacy-system migrations are handled by our technology team, with no data loss across 50+ migrations to date.

Very little. Bank feeds pull transactions automatically; bills and receipts are forwarded through a simple capture flow. Most clients spend under 30 minutes a month on their books.

Monthly engagements start from ₱10K and are scoped to transaction volume and complexity. You will have your exact figure in writing before work starts.

We tell you, in writing, with the exposure quantified and the options set out — including the option of doing nothing. Prior-year issues are common and most are correctable. What we will not do is close over them quietly and leave them for an examiner to find.

A named bookkeeper prepares your books each month and a reviewer signs them off before release. You will know both by name, and neither changes without notice.

Bookkeeping rarely travels alone.

Clean books are the input to almost everything else — the return, the audit response, the valuation, the lender pack. Same ledger, same firm, no handover.
